Motivated to help others achieve and develop optimal body performance by using an integration of manual and active rehabilitation techniques.
Acute focus on the mechanisms of movement through a “whole body” holistic approach. This is conducted through studying individual’s lifestyle and/or physical challenges; determining ways of reducing or eliminating repetitive strains/overuse injuries that may be causing inflammation, chronic pain, immobility, or other bodily imbalances.

Katie Chesher is a Kinesiologist by trade and a solution-seeker by heart. She is all about creative and realistic interventions to optimize the physical health and well-being of her clients. When it comes to active rehabilitation and exercise therapy, you may be missing something and she finds that super exciting. Let her figure it out and teach you that thing. However, more often, it’s about recognizing what it is that you are doing and learning to do that thing differently. Either way, the kinesiology care you receive from her will be as individualized as you are. Katie loves to make movement fun. Let her find an uplifting (and effective) approach to help you convert your hurt, and shine your light.
Katie specializes in core training for back pain, chronic condition management, injury prevention, and movement for wellness. She is a mum, a lover of any sport that involves kicking, and is passionate about the many facets of good health.

Lacy Brandt is a Registered Acupuncturist and Graduate of the Diploma of Acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria. She also has an Undergraduate Degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary. She has worked for just under a decade as a Rehabilitation Assistant providing physiotherapy and occupational therapy in hospitals. Her experience working hands-on with individuals recovering from traumatic injuries, as well as advanced medical and neurological conditions transfers to the acupuncture table. Her interests are in digestive & emotional health, chronic pain, and neurological recovery. She is offering traditional, scalp, and orthopedic needling techniques along with cupping, gua sha, and the Chinese massage known as Tui Na.
Lacy became passionate about acupuncture and Chinese medicine after her own experience of using them to treat her Crohn's disease, which she has been thriving with for the past 5 years. As she learned about Chinese medicine's theory of emotional states and their ability to affect physical states of being, she realized acupuncture was finally the tool she needed to approach the body as a whole in order to help herself and others. In her free time, Lacy enjoys spending as much time outside camping, rock climbing, hiking, or just laughing with friends by the ocean. She is grateful to live on the west coast and excited to have the opportunity to serve such a wonderful community.

Jennifer Cooper is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Registered Kinesiologist. She graduated from the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence with a degree in Exercise Physiology in 2018. Jennifer believes in the power of exercise as medicine and has a special interest in chronic disease management and prevention. She most recently worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at a medical fitness clinic, prescribing exercise and lifestyle counselling to individuals with health conditions. She completed post-graduate training in exercise and cancer, and supported prostate cancer survivors in a 300 hour internship during her studies. Jennifer believes that in order to make lasting changes to our health, we need to connect our behaviours with something meaningful to us, such as our values and our relationships. She always keeps this at the center of her work and supports her clients to ‘dig deep’ to discover what that may be for them. Jennifer is a mom to two little boys and spends her time combing beaches for seaglass, stepping on LEGO, and holding snacks.
